# The NEA Token

The NEA token is intended to become the currency of the Nemus ecosystem and representative of all economic activity that takes place within it, both from a digital and real world perspective. Fittingly, NEA stands for Nemus Economic Activity.

Throughout the ongoing design of its tokenomics, the main consideration for NEA is its utility within the digital realm of NFTs and cryptocurrency, as well as its real world utility. As with any currency, it will ultimately reflect the value that the Nemus ecosystem creates.
